Answer only what is asked. Each command word — calculate, justify, determine, recommend — earns marks only for that action. Extra commentary scores nothing.
One point, one mark. Marks are awarded per distinct point, not per paragraph. Write in short, separable statements so each scoring point is unmistakable.
Show the step that earns the mark. For “justify” and “calculate,” the reasoning or working is usually where the mark sits, not the final word.
Grade against the key, not your memory. Mark strictly to the points above; partial credit only where the key allows it.
