Plain-English terms for using AlphaDrill.

AlphaDrill is an independent study productivity tool. It provides a local question bank, exam-style practice, spaced-repetition review and progress tracking. It can be used by CFA Program candidates with materials they have the legal right to use.
AlphaDrill is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by, or licensed by CFA Institute. CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are registered trademarks owned by CFA Institute and are used only to describe compatibility with candidate study workflows.
AlphaDrill does not provide, host, sell, seed or distribute CFA Institute curriculum, questions, mock exams, examples, exhibits or other CFA Institute content. The app starts empty. Study content comes from the user. You may only import materials you own or are authorised to use.
AlphaDrill is for personal study use. You must not use it to infringe copyright, breach licence terms, redistribute protected material, or build, publish, sell, scrape, share or commercialise question banks derived from third-party content.
AlphaDrill is a study aid. It does not guarantee an exam result, score, pass outcome, syllabus coverage, question accuracy, or that your imported materials are complete or up to date. Your performance depends on your own preparation.
Imported questions, answers, notes, attempts and progress are stored locally on your device unless AlphaDrill clearly says otherwise. Clearing browser storage, using private browsing, changing device, or deleting local files may remove your data. You are responsible for exports and backups.
AlphaDrill Pro is sold in two options: a monthly subscription, which unlocks Pro features for as long as it stays active and renews automatically until you cancel, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. “Lifetime” means for the supported operating life of AlphaDrill, not a guarantee of perpetual availability; if AlphaDrill is ever discontinued, access ends. Pro is unlocked by a licence key issued after purchase. Prices and what each option includes are shown before you pay. Payments and payment data are handled by our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy), who acts as merchant of record. Nothing in these terms limits rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
AlphaDrill Pro is a digital product delivered immediately by licence key. By purchasing and activating your key you ask for immediate access and acknowledge that, once access has been provided, the statutory 14-day right to cancel digital content under EU and Irish consumer law no longer applies. You can cancel the monthly subscription at any time to stop future renewals; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. If your key does not work or you were charged in error, contact info@alphadrill.app and we will put it right. This does not affect any consumer rights that cannot be waived by law.
You must not misuse AlphaDrill, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, reverse engineer paid features, upload unlawful content, or use the app in a way that infringes intellectual property, privacy, security or exam-conduct rules. AlphaDrill may suspend or remove access for misuse, suspected infringement, payment failure, security risk, breach of these terms, or legal requirement.
AlphaDrill’s software, interface, design, branding, code and product features belong to AlphaDrill or its operator. You receive a limited right to use the app for personal study and do not receive ownership of the software.
To the extent permitted by law, AlphaDrill is not liable for lost study data, lost profits, exam outcomes, indirect loss, or losses caused by user-uploaded materials. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits statutory consumer rights.
AlphaDrill may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be shown on this page.
